Gillian Jacobs........................Jacobs was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Her mother, Martina Magenau Jacobs was a Carnegie Mellon University director of alumni relations at the Heinz College. Her parents were her father William F. Jacobs Jr. Lebanon. She is of French German Irish Scottish descent. She's French Scottish, Irish and German heritage. Her great-grandfather John Martin Magenau Jr. was the President and CEO of the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery in Erie Pennsylvania which had been founded in 1847. The brewery closed in the year 1978. Jacobs first started lessons in acting at age 8 and continued attending sessions on Saturdays at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs graduated from Lebanon High School in New York in 2000. She then moved into New York City in order to take classes at the Juilliard School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2004 after graduation in Lebanon High School.
